Every child learns at a different rate. Our SCORE! Premier Tutoring Program produces the fastest results. On average, improvement is 1.5 grade levels in 45 hours of instruction.*Quality of Instruction
SCORE! tutors are a talented group. Every tutor has completed an undergraduate degree from an accredited university. Many have achieved or currently are on track to achieve a Masters in Education or a related field. Additionally, SCORE! tutors are required to complete our extensive initial training program, as well as participate in ongoing training sessions and seminars. And while these qualifications are imperative, we also select individuals who demonstrate an ability to motivate kids to succeed in school and instill a love of learning.Method of Instruction
Smart Track is a new SCORE! learning system that drives a unique and revolutionary integration of in-center tutoring and online learning. We call this approach blended learning because students are exposed to different approaches to instruction. At the same time, kids are continually mastering skills and being exposed to new material. The Smart Track system constantly updates the learning plan from work done at home online, just as progress made during tutoring sessions are fed back to Smart Track, guiding online learning at home. It's a continually adapting learning method that ensures content is always relevant and productive.Personal Attention
The SCORE! Smart Track system means our tutors are prepared for your child the minute he or she walks through the door because they know what your child has worked on at home online and in previous tutoring sessions. Each tutoring session aligns your child's individualized lesson plan with his or her specific or highest priority needs. Our Online Program provides unlimited access to more than 1,000 hours of reading and math instruction from the convenience of your home computer. All of our programs provide our parents with real-time Progress Reports, which provide detailed information about each session your child completes.Motivation and Reward System
For our in-center tutoring programs, SCORE! uses motivation and rewards to encourage and support students' love of learning. These motivators allow your child to have a positive experience at SCORE! and to carry their confidence and sense of accomplishment to other learning environments and to life. Our Online Program also features fun activities that reinforce skills, as well as a motivational rewards system with fun prizes that keeps track of progress and keeps kids focused on learning.Fees
SCORE! tuition depends on the program you choose to help your child achieve academic success. To accomplish this goal, we have programs that start as low as $29 per month. But before any instruction begins, it's important to perform a comprehensive Academic Assessment that provides us with a snapshot of your child, pinpointing areas that need improvement. The fee for the assessment is $150 for the Premier Tutoring Program and covers all assessment in the program's main subject.* Based upon independent study of math and reading students in SCORE!'s individual tutoring program conducted by ERS Research in 2005.
